About the event
Halaletsang Home of Safety is operated by Mama Sophie. She and her husband run the home in their small RDP house which in lotus gardens, they have 50 children under their care, these children vary in age from an infant to teenagers in high school.
The home is a safety net for most of these children who come from disadvantage backgrounds and poverty stricken homes. Mama Sophie also runs a day care center for the children of underprivileged homes in the community, most of the surrounding community homes are struggling, the day care center is a way for them to help those in need.
They recently have received a donation to extend their RDP house to be able to accommodate the growing number of children who need their care and love, that is currently still under construction, however they still need more donations to continue with the building and taking…
